Eat Burger - 43 Gerrale St Cronulla 

This new burger joint opened in late July and has been making mouths drool ever since. The house rules include DON’T: Kiss burger, kick burger, throw burger, drink burger and DO: Eat burger! Sounds simple enough right? The southern fried chicken burger with streaky maple bacon, slaw and chipotle mayo has been rumoured to be the best burger you’ll ever eat, EVER!

Missy French - 22 Rockwell Crescent, Potts Point

If great food expertise runs in the family then this new restaurant is sure to satisfy Sydney foodies. Josephine Perry is the daughter of Australian food veteran Niel Perry and is behind the recently opened French bistro in Potts point. The food is classic French bistro style done with simple fresh ingredients and a modern twist.

The Avalon On The Beach - Avalon Beach, NSW

The Avalon on The Beach is primly located on the upper level of the Avalon Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Recently opened in July, the venue boasts amazing ocean views and menus covering breakfast lunch and dinner. Grab a bucket of fresh tiger prawns and lap up the sunny weather Sydney has been churning out.

Master - 368 Crown Street Surry Hills

Inspired by Sydney’s Chinese takeaway joints, this new place is Chinese food at its best. Traditional Chinese food is elevated to the next level with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and innovative cooking.

Luis Tan - 178 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach

Luis Tan is the fictional character developed to inspire this new South American/Asian fusion restaurant in Bondi. This culture clash has resulted in great things like spiced Edamame, pan-fried prawns with wasabi butter and ginger and lime pana cotta for desert.

The General Eatery and Supplies - 514 Marrickville Road, Dulwich Hill

The concept behind this new eatery is about fresh produce and great coffee. Choose from salads that change depending on what produce is sourced from the markets and pair it with a delicious cut of meat prepared daily. There are also delicious soups, sandwiches and fresh bread to temp you.

Taylors -  69-73 Pitt Street, Sydney

To find this new hidden gem in the CBD you’ve got to walk down a little alley way and up some stairs. When you reach the top of the stairs you’ll be rewarded with a cool new rooftop bar spreading across two levels. Slip away from the daily grind of the CBD and enjoy a pulled pork burger in this rooftop oasis.

Lucio Pizzeria - Shop 34, 2-4 Defries Avenue Zetland

If you haven’t tried Lucio’s pizza, then why the hell not?! With the new venue opening in Zetland a couple of months ago it’s even easier to get your perfectly blistered wood fired pizzas. The new venue also has a mozzarella and wine bar to make all your Italian dreams come true.

Bennelong Sydney Opera House - Bennelong Point, Sydney

They’ve got everything covered at this new restaurant that offers food and drinks as beautiful as the harbour views. Choose to dine in the restaurant downstairs, up a level overlooking the kitchen, in the bar or for a hefty sum of money at the chef’s table. Peter Gilmore is the executive chef so expect some of Sydney’s best food with a price tag to match.

Rosie Campbell’s - 320 Crown St, Surry Hills

Described as Jamaica meets New York this new venue is nestled on a Surry Hills street corner and has all your rum needs covered. The food here looks utterly mouth watering. Think jerk pork dumplings, soft shell crab burger followed by a warm caramel rum cake. YUM!
