Parramatta Lanes around Parramatta

Taronga’s 100 Years Birthday Parade at Hyde Park

To celebrate its 100th birthday, Taronga Zoo will be hosting a parade of 10 giant light sculptures through the city, to mark the move from Moore Park to Mosman 100 years ago.

 

Makers and Shakers Market at Marrickville Town Hall

The Makers and Shakers Market is on again this weekend at the Marrickville Town Hall. This indoor, curated, retail event will bring together makers to share their homewares, furniture, food, flowers, stationary and photography.

 

Night Noodle Markets at Hyde Park

All weekend

Celebrate Good Food Month this weekend at the annual Night Noodle Markets, Hyde Park. With more than 40 food stalls, a selection of bars and nightly entertainment, this event a must-do this season.

 

Rites of Passage Tattoo Festival at Sydney Showground

All weekend

If you’re partial to a splash of ink, then you must attend the largest celebration of tattoo culture in the southern hemisphere, Rites of Passage. The festival celebrates creativity and connecting different individuals through the neo-traditional art form of tattooing.
