Oz Comic-Con at Sydney Exhibition Centre

Oz Comic-Con will be taking over the Sydney Exhibition Centre all weekend with superhero, villain and cos-play enthusiasts. Special guests at the event will include Daniel Portman - who plays Podrick in Game of Thrones, Maggie Roswell, the voice of Maude Flanders from The Simpsons and the twin werewolves Max and Charlie Carver from Teen Wolf.

Flight Facilities in The Domain

7:30pm Saturday 10 September

Tomorrow night Flight Facilities will be performing live with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in The Domain. Performing hits off their Down to Earth album, this is their last Australian performance before heading to the US and is definitely a must-see.

If it has been a stressful week and you feel like indulging this weekend, then the Smooth Festival of Chocolate is a must! For two days Sydney-siders are invited to sample chocolate desserts, pick up cooking tips from experts and buy famous desserts from places like Black Star Pastry and Adriano Zumbo.

Just for Laughs at the Sydney Opera House

The Just for Laughs comedy show is back in Sydney for its sixth consecutive year. This year the performance is bringing a number of international talent with it, including South African-born US-based comedian Trevor Noah, American Margaret Cho and British talk-show host Alan Carr.

Festival of the Winds at Bondi Beach

11:00am Sunday 11 September 

Get your kite prepped and head down to Bondi Beach this Sunday for one of the most colourful spring festivals in Sydney. The Festival of the Winds takes place at Bondi Park, Bondi Beach and Bondi Pavilion and consists of kite flying, buying and making. Also on showcase will be face painting, an animal farm, jumping castles and live family entertainment.
