French for pineapple, the word ananas has for centuries been synonymous with hospitality and abundance. Housed within one of Sydney’s landmark historic buildings featuring soaring ceilings and exposed stone walls, Ananas is both sassy and avant garde with fun 1920’s inspired décor including art deco lamps and hand-painted tiles cheekily referencing the pineapple. 

A dedicated Oyster Bar is a highlight treating patrons to shucked-to-order oysters and a daily plateau fruits de mer. The full brasserie menu is complemented by a bar menu selection, available as supper until 3am for those wanting to make the most of the late license from Thursday to Sunday.
