Celebrate the darkness of Winter Solstice

Revel in the darkness and celebrate the longest night of the year in Sydney.

Baron Samedi Spiced, inspired by the Voodoo guardian of the underworld, will host After Dark, an evening full of adventure, imagination and creativity at iconic Sydney venue The Argyle.

As the sun goes down on the eve of winter solstice, celebrate with a unique lightshow inspired by Haitian Vodou culture.

There’ll also be a live art performance by UV paint artist Megan Hales inspired by darkness.

Toast the change with one of three bespoke cocktails created especially for the astronomical phenomenon. Summon the Baron is a refreshing blend of Baron Samedi Spiced, ginger beer and fresh lime; or sip a Spice Espresso Martini, for chocolate and spice and all things nice; or play it cool with Baron’s Daiquiri, served over ice.

After Dark is on Thursday 21 June, and you can find The Argyle on the street of the same name at The Rocks.
