Guilt-free seafood at Martin Place

Australia’s inaugural Sustainable Seafood Week will be held over 12-18 March.

Dedicated to raising awareness about the overfishing of the world’s seafood, Sustainable Seafood Week will highlight the need for the public to protect our seafood supplies through the purchase of sustainable, wild caught seafood.

On March 12, 13 and 15 between 11am-2:30pm, Marcus Place Amphitheatre will host the MSC Forever Wild Food Truck, which will be serving delicious, sustainable seafood dishes.

The Forever Wild Food Truck will be supported by MSC Wild One ambassadors, including My Kitchen Rules’ Scott Gooding and Chef Bart Van Olphen, who you might know from Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution.

The event is organised by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), an international non-profit organisation established to tackle the issue of unsustainable fishing. 20 years from the organisation’s formation, and with their blue label on 25,000 products across 100 countries the MSC is the world’s most recognised certification program for sustainable fishing.

Entry to the event is free, with sustainable seafood available for purchase. For more information, head to https://www.msc.org/foreverwild.
