Head no further than Joe Black Cafe at the end of Commonwealth Street in the CBD. it’s little hole in the wall cafe makes coffee so good you’ll never want to leave. Try our favourite on the menu, ‘Magic’. It’s a specialty cold drip concoction which is unique to Joe Black.

Social-Laneway Espresso - Redfern

It’s definitely a blast from the past when being greeted at Social-Laneway Espresso.  This beautiful cafe in Redfern is comforting and warm, just like a big bear-hug. Laneway does an all day breakfast, which gives us more warm and fuzzy feelings inside, especially when you see the soft scrambled eggs with shallots, crispy bacon, toast and fresh avocado!

There is a reason why Bills is on everyone’s favourite cafe/restaurant/dining lists - it’s just that good. Booking in advance is a must as, since their opening over a year ago, there is a constant queue down the street.

On the menu you have your classic full Aussie fry up. It’s done ‘Bills’ style with scrambled organic eggs, sourdough toast, cumin roast tomato, bacon, miso mushrooms, pork and fennel sausage. If you’re up for something lighter, try the ricotta hotcakes, banana and honeycomb butter or something completely fresh like gravlax, poached eggs, kale, avocado and cherry tomatoes.
