A masterclass in bourbon

Here’s the perfect evening for discerning bourbon drinkers and those keen to learn more about craftmanship.

Russell’s Reserve is teaming up with local artisans Bas and Lokes and G.A. Zink & Sons to host a series of Bond Made in Bourbon masterclasses.

The masterclasses celebrate the father-son bond between Jimmy and Eddie Russell, the father-son Master Distillers behind Russell’s Reserve.

Attendees will experience a workshop hosted by either Bas and Lokes or G.A. Zink which will showcase their shared passion for craft and strong family bonds which have influenced this craft.

Guests will hear first-hand about Eddie and Jimmy Russell’s combined 100 plus years of bourbon-making experience, and their rich bonds made through bourbon.

Leathermakers Bas and Lokes combine modern style with traditional knowledge for handcrafting leather goods built to go the distance, and will demonstrate how they craft products of excellence with precision.

Sixth generation tailors and father-son duo Robert Jones and Daniel Jones create high quality, bespoke garments with a traditional English style, and will showcase their unwavering commitment to creating high quality and bespoke garments.

Guests will also experience a private bourbon masterclass including a lesson in making the perfect Russell’s Reserve Boulevardier and tasting of Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel and 10-Year-Old.

Drinks will be enjoyed alongside a curated menu inspired by the deep flavour of Russell’s Reserve bourbon whiskey.

Russell’s Reserve Bond Made in Bourbon events will take place at Kittyhawk in Sydney on the Thursday 6 September and Thursday 20 September.
