MoVement Sydney kicks off next week

Created to celebrate the art of dance music, inspire expression, and cultivate the best live dance and electronic music in Sydney, this incredible series is returning for its second year, at a time when the city needs it most.
 
Returning Wed 19 October to Sun 23 October, MoVement Sydney’s epic five-day takeover is set to occupy every nook and cranny of Australia’s prettiest city.  Spanning from secret warehouse parties to carefully curated club nights featuring international and local line-ups, record swap meets, live streams and much more. 

MoVement Sydney’s second year is proud to announce the world exclusive debut performance by Mind Gamers, the musical brainchild of renowned artists Sebastien Tellier, Daniel Stricker (Midnight Juggernauts)and John Kirby (Blood Orange).

With unique events and parties running across the city, Sydney’s finest dance party crews and venues are on hand to showcase the creativity and the best live music this city has to offer. Venue El Topo will host an energising set from local young gun Yahtzel and Chippendale’s finest Freda's presents their partyPULSATIONS. Heaps Gay join the birthday bashes, celebrating three years with Kimchi Princi (Live) + more. Charades plays host to Steve Spacek. NO ZU joins the line-up at Picnic Presents, who have already announced a live set from Sleep D. Patrons can expect ultimate FOMO with even more parties thrown by Sydney dance alum Mansion Lane, House of Mince, Champain Lyf, S.A.S.H and LNDRY.

Introducing innovative and exciting additions, the program has also expanded to include Insert Coin(s) Halloween party featuring Resident Evil 7: Biohazard - with live sets from DJ Levins, Martin Novosel (Purple Sneakers DJs) and Glenn B Trippin’ accompanying the arcade gaming. Stoney Roads are even turning cinemas into dance dens with screenings and performance of Daft Punk Unchained and Human Traffic, special screenings available for Stoney Roads subscribers.

The brainchild of V Energy Australia, MoVement Sydney has become a mainstay in the calendars of Sydney’s most discerning event enthusiasts. The 2015 event saw over 7,000 attendees, with 25 events spanning the suburbs of Sydney, from boat parties to awards night to DJ workshops.
