A pub with character - Queenie's

The Drink N Dine guy's have a knack for creating cool pub venues with great drinks, awesome food and an all round good vibe and Queenie’s, doesn’t disappoint!
The vibe and décor is Voodoo Diner and with rum and beer for the dudes and cocktails for the girls, this is a popular BBQ pick up joint for Surry Hills.

A Jamaican-inspired bar and kitchen located on level one of The Forresters, Queenie’s promises something different, with its menu of “pan tropical specialties” that come in generous serves, encouraging diners to get in with their hands and share the experience.

The impressive offering includes a mix of everything from Pushcart Chicken Wings and Curried Oxtail Patties, to Octopus & Jamaican Tabouleh Salad or a feast of Jerk Pork Neck served with Chili Salsa, Jungle Slaw and Bread Rolls. The décor is the work of designer Mike Delany (who works with Jaime on the design for all the Drink N Dine venues) and is a jungle diner vibe, complete with checkerboard floors, floral light fittings, wood laminex tables and colourful artworks.

A super casual new restaurant and bar with a great fun vibe and loud music, Queenie’s is the sixth venture for the Drink N Dine guys, who started back in 2010 with hugely successful turnaround of The Norfolk, before making names for themselves with The Carrington, The Abercrombie, The Forresters and more recently The Apartment.

Queenie's is open five nights a week,

(Tuesday through Saturday) and Fridays for lunch.
