RNB and wine mix it up

Rhythm and Blues and wine may seem like an eclectic mix but with RNB Fridays Live wrapping up, the organisers are bringing something new to the music scene.

RNB Vine Days are a series of special shows kicking off on Saturday 3 February with Boyz II Men and TLC leading the charge at the Hunter Valley’s Bimbadgen

The RNB stars will also perform an indoor show at Star Event Centre on Wednesday 31 January.

One of the music industry’s most elite and truly iconic R&B groups, Boyz II Men have been performing for more than two decades, giving fans a rich catalogue of hits filled with smooth harmonies and enduring themes. The trio’s four Grammy Awards are just the tip of the iceberg: throughout their 25-year career, Boyz II Men have numerous prestigious accolades to their name including nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards and three Billboard Music Awards.

One of history’s most influential female hip-hop and R&B acts, TLC will be returning Down Under next February. These three empowered women, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, captured the world’s attention with their sassy and sophisticated R&B set against a socially conscious lyrical style.

Tragically in 2002, Lopes was killed in a car accident. Refusing to call it quits in honour of their fallen sister T-Boz and Chilli have since continued to tour worldwide.
