Swine and Wine popping up in Sydney

Suckling pig and wine sounds pretty good to us, and you can grab a taste of it in Sydney at a pop-up event.

Mr Crackles and Handpicked Cellar Door are combining on Sunday 17 December for the Swine and Wine one-day only pop up dining experience that matches suckling pig and stuffed porchetta with premium Australian wines.

The two brands each have a distinctive feel. Handpicked is a contemporary Australian winery, producing award-winning drops, while Mr Crackles is a cult brand who deliver consistently tasty food, specialising in its signature rolls, pork belly and roast lamb shoulders.

Sam Horowitz from Mr Crackles said Swine and Wine will be a mini ‘Mr Crackles Fans Appreciations society.’

“We want our fans to pig out and have a good time, they’ll definitely be well fed,” he said.

Swine and Wine is set for a 1pm start where guests can reserve tables through Handpicked Cellar Door. Sommeliers will be on hand to assist with handy tips and tricks to match your Christmas food and wine, and there will be bottle shop discounts and free gift wrapping for any Christmas purchases.
