Then, move on the main event including duck borek with tkemali plum sauce; and lamb fillet with Jerusalem artichoke tarator. End on a sweet note with a special Valentine’s Turkish mess dessert.

If you’re looking to “wow” your date, celebrate Valentine’s Day with a playful British-inspired seven-course degustation at Nel in Surry Hills. The restaurant also prepares a special dessert of chocolate, cardamom, Turkish coffee pralines and cherry clotted cream for the occasion.

The Tudor Hotel offers a special menu including a shared entrée and dessert for lovers this Valentine’s Day. Start with a grazing plate of charred corn, pork belly bites and rosemary beef skewers ($18) followed by a trio of house made strawberry, peach and mango sorbets ($12). Pair this with the Gin Basil Smash cocktail ($16): Hendricks gin with citrus and a huge helping of fresh basil, and you’ll have a night to remember.
