What is the Golden Moon?
The Golden Moon is set to shine on Sydney at Café del Mar!
Taking around 90 minutes to create, the city’s new must-try dessert the Golden Moon is decadent flavours of white and dark chocolate, mascarpone, berries and coffee, complete with golden details.
The dish is the vision of group executive chef Damien Brassel and all the ingredients are made in house by the resident pastry chef from start to finish.
The Golden Moon will feature as part of Café de Mar’s interactive dessert station during a Mother’s Day three-course brunch, complete with Harbour views and bottomless wine.
The dessert station will showcase a selection of newly launched desserts arranged on a bed of chocolate soil, including the Golden Moon, the Deconstructed Mille Fueille and the Chocolate Caramel Sunset.
Other dishes in the special brunch include the mushroom tart with Pioppini mushrooms and truffle pecorino, Eggs Boudin Noir, baked eggs, boudin noir and asparagus, and the Zuppa di Pesce with Blue Swimmer crab, prawns, mussels, saffron rouille and crostini (to name just a few).
