King Street Gallery on William was opened by Director Robert Linnegar in 1982. Situated in the heart of the Sydney arts district, within walking distance of the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Museum of Contemporary Art, King Street Gallery has been in continuous operation for almost 30 years.
