The Weekly Gig Guide

I’m gonna call it- this weeks’ gig guide is probably one of THE BIGGEST of 2015. You couldn’t get any heavier than these so-hot-right-now heavy weights touring this week. Rain, hail or shine Sydney is on heat this week.

Tame Impala

It should come as no surprise that Tame Impala are back to unleash their adventurous sonic suites in the beauty of the Opera House’s harbor-side forecourt. Fresh from a #1 chart debut with their third studio offering “Currents”, they’ll be making their first debut at our iconic venue as part of this springtime’s ‘Music at the House’ series. Oh and of course both shows are sold out :/

If you’ve been kicking yourself for missing Britain’s fiery powerhouse Florence + The Machine’s set at Vivid LIVE and Splendour In The Grass earlier this year, this should be unmissable, as they return in triumphant form. In an already career-defining year that has seen the release of the nine-times number one album ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’, this performance will no doubt follow through with Florence Welch’s romantic swagger and cinematic range – and somehow they’re still tickets available!
